Pondering #1
"Who allows you to breathe who gives you breath" he asked
They respond "Well God does"
"If you receive your breath from God!" He exclaims
"What can you do for God?"
Is this like one worm asking another what can you do for man?
I don't know but it is bothering me i know not why.
Pondering #2
I posted a Why post this may fit in.
Jesus was born without sin and lived without sin then he became sin for us on the cross and was sacrificed for our sin. He knew no sin but yet he was a man sent to earth as a lamb to restore us.
We are born in sin - i believe we are under grace until we are of an accountable age. Then as we understand our sin we repent of it turn away from it and spend the rest of our lives avoiding it.
(KJV) Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Caveat what if we are born of sin or into sin but raised in a strict-holiness-legalistic-denomination oh what am i to do? Is this the same as someone who is born American not fully understanding what freedoms and grace America affords us?
